Software Development Engineer

PPRS is an independent company specialized in the development of innovative projects with diagnostic or therapeutic purposes in various therapeutic fields.

PPRS has thus developed Somno-Art (https://www.somno-art.com/), an innovative and ambulatory medical device that simplifies the recording and analysis of sleep: based on the analysis of recordings of heart rate and body movements of sleep, our solution is able to produce results equivalent to a medical sleep laboratory examination.

We are looking for a Software development engineer for our Medical Device and Innovative Solutions in our Alsace-based offices.

As part of our multidisciplinary Medical Devices and Innovative Solutions team, you will participate in the development of our ISO 13485 and 62304 certified medical software and devices alongside our engineers, physiologists and doctors.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Somno-Art Firmware
   • Core algorithm and UI development
   • Feature implementation and test
   • Bug fixing
   • Documentation maintenance
2. Somno-Art Device
   • New BOM validation
   • Device comparison analysis
   • Next-generation product development
3. Clinical Studies Support
   • Operational tools development
   • Data collection and analysis
   • Training and technical support

Your profile:

• Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
• 2+ years R&D experience (internships considered)

• Language: Matlab, Python, C++

• Knowledge of medical device regulatory environment (ISO 13485, MDR, IEC 62304) is a plus

• Curious to learn
• Good level of English required.
